Alongside the Approachable Art exhibition, Campo & Campo presents the work of Liesbet Braeckman in the gallery.

Liesbet Braeckman (1974, Antwerp) creates distinctive textile wall objects from leftover fabrics sourced from the interior and fashion industries. By intertwining and manipulating different layers of textile, she creates tactile works with rich texture, relief and volume. This layered approach gives her work a strong visual and sculptural presence, while also providing an acoustic quality. [1]

Braeckman often works with circular and organic forms. By giving discarded and leftover materials a new purpose, she brings together craftsmanship, sustainability and contemporary art. Her works exist at the intersection of textile art and sculpture, transforming industrial remnants into objects with a new story and identity. [3]
